    Barbara Niersbach elected Vice Rector

    The Senate has elected Professor Dr. Barbara Niersbach to succeed Professor Dr. Michael Pfeffer as Vice-Rector for Research, International Affairs and Transfer. Professor Dr. Heidi Reichle and Professor Dr. Sebastian Mauser had already been confirmed in their positions as Vice-Rectors in June.

    Students from RWU University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg-Weingarten enjoyed a diverse study week in Prague. The program included visits to renowned universities, insights into international companies such as Škoda and Pilsner Urquell, and valuable cultural experiences. The participants benefited equally academically, interculturally, and personally.

    Digital twins and artificial intelligence - research results of the KIDZ project

    The Institute for Digital Change presented the results of the "AI-based digital twin" (KIDZ) research project. The focus was on self-learning, explainable AI systems for the realistic mapping and optimization of production processes. Technical presentations and a live demonstration illustrated the practical application of the solutions developed.

    A three-person delegation from Binawan University in Indonesia visited RWU to talk about existing and future collaborations for the qualification of international specialists, particularly in the field of nursing.
