Weingarten - The graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Social Work, Health and Nursing took place in the foyer of RWU's main building. Graduates, family members, teaching staff and employees of the faculty came together in a festive setting to celebrate the graduation.

"Success is not an individual achievement"

Rector Professor Dr. Thomas Spägele welcomed the former students: "Today is an important turning point in your lives. You have persevered, achieved a great deal and can be proud of what you have accomplished." He then turned to the relatives of the graduates: "But success is not an individual achievement, because you also deserve your share of the applause. You have supported the graduates wherever possible."

The Dean of the Faculty of Social Work, Health and Nursing, Professor Dr. Anja Klimsa, then addressed a few words to the former students. She bid farewell to the young people with the words: "We are proud to dismiss you today as future colleagues - courageous, curious, responsible and ready to help shape our future."

Certificate ceremony and festive finale

A total of 54 graduates from two Master's and four Bachelor's degree programs received their diplomas. The award for special commitment to the student council was presented to Sarah Morgenschweis by Professor Dr. Annika Valentin. She particularly praised the graduate's attitude of "looking where it would have been easier to look away and speaking up where silence would have been more comfortable". Her contribution goes far beyond her own academic success and has sustainably strengthened the university as a social place.

The young improv duo "Improsinen" from Ravensburg provided entertainment between the certificate presentations. In three improv theater interludes, the two took suggestions from the audience and spontaneously developed scenes from them.

The successful conclusion was the buffet organized by the student council, which catered for the physical well-being of the guests. Noah and Anton from the band "Blumen für mich" provided the musical accompaniment.
