In July, students at RWU built a mobile green oasis as part of a sustainability project. It is intended to be a shaded place to relax and can be used in the future both on the university campus and in the city of Weingarten.

In July, several schools from Ravensburg and the surrounding area visited RWU. The students got to know the university and its academic programs and gained insights into various subject areas through workshops. 

RWU and PH Weingarten are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their joint library. Housed in the historic Fruchtkasten building on Martinsberg, the library is the oldest collaboration of its kind in Baden-Württemberg.

The Schools of Mechanical Engineering and Technology and Management held graduation ceremonies for their graduates. A total of 97 students received their diplomas.

On June 15, RWU hosted two partner universities. Representatives from universities in Thailand and Japan had traveled to the university to sign agreements with it.

75 students from the School of Social Work, Health, and Nursing graduated from RWU this summer semester. At the graduation ceremony, the graduates received their diplomas and celebrated with family and friends.

RWU will soon be offering a new bachelor's degree program. Digital Engineering combines computer science, engineering, and modern production technologies.

On June 11, Professor Dr. Thorsten Thiel from the University of Erfurt will speak about the interplay between AI and democracy. Among other things, he will discuss the change in the democratic public sphere and the increasing mechanization of state decision-making processes.

In the Wednesday seminar on June 17 at RWU, Prof. Dr. Jan-Marc Hodek will discuss the German healthcare system. Among other things, he will discuss the question of whether smokers should pay higher health insurance contributions.

Every step counts. Because climbing stairs is good for your physical fitness and for the environment. How RWU students want to motivate people in the Marienplatzgarage to take the stairs instead of the elevator.

The Formula Student Weingarten team presented its 20th racing car at RWU on May 20 under the motto "The twentieth on the 20th". Around 200 guests came to celebrate the anniversary and see the "Stinger26E" for the new season.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at RWU bid farewell to its graduates at a ceremony attended by numerous guests.
