Preliminary math course

Fit in math - ready for your studies

The University Didactics Department offers a preliminary math course for new RWU students before each semester. Here you can refresh your school knowledge in mathematics and learn important mathematical knowledge for a successful start to your studies at RWU. Of course, you will also get to know other students and make friends before the semester starts.

Well prepared for your studies with the elective module "Study start"

A successful start to your studies is the basis for your success. Our study start courses support students in their first and second semesters with practical tips, tools and advice: from time and resource management to effective learning strategies, rhetoric and self-organization. The elective module "Studienstart" helps you to find your way around everyday university life, strengthen your study skills and start your studies well prepared.

When:
Every Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Start: March 25

Where:
DidacticsCenter in bulding K, Room K 002a

Registration at:
No registration is necessary. You can simply drop by.
However, as the number of participants is limited to 25 people, we are still happy to receive any binding registration from Martin Preußentanz.

Although the course does not award ECTS, it is tailored to the specific and personal needs of the participants. This means that everyone gets what they need to study successfully. You are welcome to take part in individual sessions or attend all courses.
 
You will also receive a certificate of attendance after attending 5 courses .

Our experienced tutors will guide you step by step through the relevant topics and prepare you for your studies in the best possible way.

In weekly workshops, we offer the opportunity to clarify specific problems and questions with experts in university didactics or to try out the film and podcast studio or the Immersive LearningLab in the Didactics Center.
