Demonstrate language proficiency with the TestDaF

“TestDaF” is a standardized language exam that assesses German language proficiency at levels B2 through C1. “DaF” stands for German as a Foreign Language. This exam is designed for individuals who need to demonstrate language proficiency for academic studies, professional purposes, or for the recognition of their qualifications in Germany. The TestDaF certificate is recognized by all colleges and universities in Germany as well as internationally.

The CLIC Language Center at RWU regularly offers the digital TestDaF. The next opportunity to take the TestDaF at RWU is on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 10 a.m. The exam will take place in Building V at Lazarettstraße 1 in Weingarten. Registration is open until October 30 via the central website www.testdaf.de. The fee is 210 euros.

The test consists of four sections that assess listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written expression, and oral language use. For the digital TestDaF, the tasks are administered via an online interface. The procedure is explained in detail in advance so that participants can prepare thoroughly.
