When Robots Take Over the Apple Harvest
Could robots soon take over the fruit harvest at Lake Constance? Researchers from RWU and DHBW, in collaboration with the companies InMach and vision&robotics, have developed a prototype robot for this purpose. It was tested in the field for the first time in the apple orchards of a fruit farm in Kressbronn.

In July, students at RWU built a mobile green oasis as part of a sustainability project. It is intended to be a shaded place to relax and can be used in the future both on the university campus and in the city of Weingarten.
