RWU student Cornelius Wilnhammer traveled to Sweden to spend the winter there during his semester abroad at Karlstad University. 

International Flair at RWU: Two groups of high school students from different continents got a taste of campus life, discussed socially relevant topics, and made plans for their future studies in Germany.

On June 15, RWU hosted two partner universities. Representatives from universities in Thailand and Japan had traveled to the university to sign agreements with it.

Since 1987, one million students from Germany have studied or completed internships abroad with the support of ERASMUS. RWU Ravensburg-Weingarten University has been accredited as an ERASMUS institution since the 1990s.

A different kind of country night: international and German students from Weingarten University of Applied Sciences and RWU met at Alibi for a quiz night - with questions about Ravensburg, music, youth language and the "typical German".

At the Indian theme week "Namaste@RWU" at the end of April, RWU welcomed guests from its Indian partner universities and set an example for international cooperation with a variety of events.

Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences has maintained close relations with universities and institutions in India for many years. An Indian theme week will soon be taking place on campus.

At the end of the year, the International Office of Weingarten University of Applied Sciences and RWU organized a country evening with Christmas traditions from four countries.

As part of this year's International Day, two awards were presented to international students who have distinguished themselves through their intercultural commitment, among other things.

Last Wednesday, 12.11., a symposium on the topic of "academicized nursing" took place at the university with numerous visitors.

On Monday afternoon, there was plenty for RWU students and staff to discover - and above all to eat.

The new internationals were also warmly welcomed to RWU in the current summer semester.

From Pune to Jaipur to Kochi - a delegation from RWU led by Professor Dr. Michael Pfeffer, Vice-Rector for Research, International Affairs and Transfer, made valuable contacts in the Indian education and business world.

For the year 2024, RWU will once again present the DAAD Prize and the International Student Award for exceptional intercultural commitment.

From November 18 to 22, RWU invited representatives of its international partner universities to a Staff Training Week. Guests from Ireland, Poland, France, Italy and Thailand came to Weingarten.
