Weingarten - Around 20 percent of students at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences (RWU) come from abroad. More than half of them come from India. There are also close relationships with a total of five partner universities in different regions of the country.
Indian guest lecturers will provide insights into their culture
In February 2025, RWU representatives visited both the partner universities and regional companies on site. Many discussions were held with the aim of further strengthening cooperation. As part of these efforts, there will be an Indian-themed week at the university from April 20 to 25 under the name "Namaste@RWU".
The International Office has put together an extensive program with various information events and activities. Guest lecturers from all five partner universities in India will be on the RWU campus to give students, staff, lecturers and other interested parties an insight into their culture and university life in their home country.
Among other things, a cricket tournament is planned at RWU
On Monday evening, April 20, for example, guests can attend an Indian night from 6:30 pm and an Indian movie night is planned for Thursday evening, April 23, from 6:30 pm. The highlight and finale of the week is the cricket tournament on Saturday from 9:30 am to 1 pm, where all interested parties are welcome. Prior registration is required for the tournament.
All events will be held in English. More information about the program can be found on the RWU website.
