Study information day at RWU

New freedom, new city, new people. Sometimes understanding everything and sometimes nothing. First pad, great love, last exam. Studying is a special stage of life. It's good when it takes place in a place where you feel taken seriously and accepted. On November 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Student Information Day on the RWU campus will answer all your questions about studying, from admission requirements to RWU's degree programs and career prospects after graduation.

Orientation in diversity

As a university of applied sciences, RWU enables people with a wide variety of qualifications to pursue an academic career. Whether you have a high school diploma, an entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or a master craftsman's certificate, there are many different routes to university. And there are many different paths through university. The important thing is to find the right path for you.

Applied psychology or media design? Business administration, mechanical engineering or electromobility? Bachelor's degree courses in the fields of engineering, business and social sciences are presented at the RWU main building during the study information day. Student initiatives and higher education institutions will also be presenting themselves at stands in the foyer. Visitors will have the opportunity to talk directly to lecturers and students and ask any questions they may have about course content, career prospects and campus life.

Accompanying program to try out

RWU has also prepared a varied accompanying program that includes taster lectures and exciting lab tours both on site and online. Student Services will provide information on application procedures and admission. Student initiatives such as the Formula Student Team, the Environmental Working Group and the "House of Makers and Engineers" invite you to join in. All of this gives prospective students an authentic insight into the RWU campus.

Offers for parents and teachers

And because it has been so popular in recent years, there will once again be a Parents' Café at this year's Student Info Day. Here, parents and teachers who would like support in choosing the right degree program can get information and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. "We are looking forward to welcoming many visitors and would like to provide interested parties and those around them with the best possible information so that they can make an informed decision for the future," says Heidi Reichle, Vice-Rector for Didactics, Digitalization and University Communication.
