The 19th Women's Business Days Baden-Württemberg in the Lake Constance-Upper Swabia region kicked off on October 9 with a kick-off event at RWU. The organizers, including Anja Wagner, Equal Opportunities Officer at RWU, warmly welcomed the numerous guests to the university. In her introductory speech, Veronika Wäscher-Göggerle, Women's and Family Representative of the Lake Constance district, emphasized the potential of women for the region's economy.
"Equality is a growth driver," Wäscher-Göggerle stated, pointing out that younger generations expect equality in working life. The Women's Business Days aim to support women in terms of self-confidence, brainstorming and strategies for their professional development. Accordingly, the opening event was very popular and the hall was fully booked with 120 participants. This year's program was opened by the author Tanja Köhler with the lecture "Clever thoughts that get you ahead".
The author presented the audience with 12 questions for personal assessment. These are intended to help women gain clarity about their own goals and encourage them to dare to make changes. In line with this year's motto of the Women's Business Days "Strong. Network. Successful." the participants came together afterwards for a lively discussion. Lively discussions developed over drinks and pretzels and the RWU foyer remained well attended until long after the end of the lecture. The Women's Business Days programme is organized in the districts of Ravensburg and Lake Constance in cooperation with regional players. A wide range of events for women will be offered until October 20. The rest of the Women's Business Days program can be found here: Women's Business Days Baden-Württemberg
