Science and Magic at the 2026 State Garden Show

At the end of September, RWU was represented at the State Garden Show in Ellwangen an der Jagst with its “MintDiscovery” project. Professor Dr. Markus Pfeil, head of the Electrical Engineering and Information Technology program, participated at the RWU booth with his “Science and Magic” program, which he has been developing for several years now. “We used a playful approach to bring scientific work at RWU to life. And in the process, we saw many amazed faces,” he says.

Veronika Weber-Schopp and Joachim Fessler presented the interactive, hands-on booth centered on various STEM topics for children, teenagers, and anyone interested.

RWU’s appearance in Ellwangen was part of an event organized by the statewide platform exploreMINT, which, in collaboration with various universities, offered hands-on STEM activities at the State Garden Show from September 23 to October 4. These included experiments, interactive demonstrations, and hands-on insights into science and technology.
