Human Resources and Organizational Development

Studierende bei Gruppenarbeit.
Profile

The success of our university is based on the knowledge, ability and desire of our staff, and on constructive cooperation across divisional and departmental boundaries.

Our goal

The goal of human resources and organizational development is to support our employees and professors in such a way that they are able and motivated to fulfill the educational mission of our university, whether in teaching or in science administration. With various measures and offers, we want to promote the professional development of our staff as well as the best possible design of work processes and organizational culture.

In the spirit of humanizing work, we are committed to making the university a place of professional and personal development for all our employees. In addition to continuing professional development, this also includes promoting workplace health and work-life balance.

Our self-image

Human resources and organizational development provides impetus for further development at the individual and organizational level. This further development always remains a joint product of various players. Whether administrative staff, professors or managers: they all contribute to making our university a great place to work.

Likewise, human resources and organizational development is not a one-time task, but a process. We invite all of our staff to participate in this process. Contact us with your suggestions, wishes and ideas!

This is the conclusion of the 2023 Online Survey on the Quality of Studying, Teaching and Working at RWU (“Quality Workshop”), the results of which are now available.
