A warm welcome to the new employees at RWU. We hope you all had a good start!

Felicia Wieland is 30 years old and lives in Bad Waldsee. She studied mechanical engineering, first at Furtwangen University and then at RWU. After graduating, she worked as a design engineer for special forestry machinery and continues to do so alongside her work at RWU. She is now doing her doctorate at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and is particularly looking forward to working with colleagues, learning new things and conducting research in her subject area. Felicia enjoys making music in her free time.

27-year-old Chiara Roma is originally from Koblenz and completed her Master's degree in Cultural Studies at the University of Koblenz in May 2025. She has been working in public relations at RWU since February, currently as a mini-jobber; from September she will be working there as a trainee. She chose the university because she noticed the pleasant atmosphere, the respectful interaction and the exciting field of work during her first visit. She is particularly looking forward to learning lots of new things and deepening her knowledge. In her free time, she likes to get creative - for example by drawing, sewing or cosplaying.

Petra Bucher is 56 years old and comes from Brochenzell. Before coming to RWU, she worked as an assistant to the management. At the university, she now works as a secretary in Dean's Office S. The appreciative and friendly atmosphere is what has convinced her the most so far and Petra is looking forward to many interesting encounters and new experiences at RWU. She finds a balance to her work with her family and friends as well as with sport.

Caroline Kolb is 27 years old and originally comes from Mülheim an der Ruhr in NRW. Until last year she studied Media Studies in Marburg and in March of this year she started her traineeship in RWU's Public Relations department.

27-year-old Mandy Buda from Duisburg is joining the RWU team in the FSU project area. She previously worked as a student assistant in university didactics. What she particularly appreciates about her new role in the project-based degree program is the work with didactic content and the further development of modern teaching. Mandy is looking forward to actively shaping the future of the project. She finds a balance to her day-to-day work in sport and juggling in her free time.

The following have also started: Marlin Ferlmann in Didactics and Sven Thelemann in Technical Operations.
