Weingarten becomes Dreamcity

The film production company "Dreamscope" has produced an image film about Weingarten. The two founders Janis Gornik and Tim Füssinger, who also act in front of the camera themselves, have declared the university town a "Dreamcity" without further ado.

The duo, who also made an image film about RWU in 2023, went to great lengths - both organizationally and technically. For example, a dinosaur chases across Münsterplatz or a shark through the pool in the city's outdoor swimming pool.

A dream city for students

The place of study is becoming an increasingly important factor in the final study decision. In the study interest test conducted by the ZEIT publishing house, this decision criterion even came in first place for the first time this year. In this sense, the film offers many arguments in favor of studying in Weingarten. Do you even need all the special effects?

"It was important to us that RWU also gets a scene in the film, because the students are very influential for Weingarten. We've also had a very good relationship with RWU for a long time and were keen to include the lecture hall scene," emphasizes producer Janis Gornik.
