Visit at bavius in Baienfurt

On 27.06.2025, 20 students from RWU Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences had the opportunity to gain exciting insights into the production of special machines as part of an excursion to Bavius Technologie GmbH in Baienfurt. The company produces machining centers for the high-speed machining of large structural parts and profiles.

Under the expert guidance of Melanie Pav (Head of Human Resources) and Dominik Merz (Head of Sales), the students learned more about the company's innovative products and the various manufacturing processes that can be carried out with these machines, as well as how such a machine is produced. "This excursion is an excellent example of the successful networking between RWU and regional companies. It also allows students to experience the content of their studies in practice," says the organizing professor, Dr.-Ing.
