The main road through Köpfingen is closed

According to a statement from the municipality of Baienfurt, the main through road in the district of Köpfingen will be extensively renovated in the coming months. Construction work will begin on Monday, March 16, 2026, and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2026.

During the construction period, the through road will be completely closed to through traffic. A corresponding detour via Weingarten will be set up and signposted.

Regulations for pedestrians and cyclists

Pedestrians can continue to pass through the area during the construction period. However, there may be short-term restrictions during the asphalting work. Cyclists are requested to dismount as a suitable detour for cycle traffic cannot be set up.
