"Important dialog between the universities"

On April 21 and 22, 2026, the heads of the student departments of the universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg met at RWU. A total of 22 people from 18 universities took part in the conference.

The focus of the event was on cross-regional exchange and networking between those responsible. External contributions from the University Service Center, the Studienkolleg in Constance and the Legal Office of the Universities of Applied Sciences in Baden-Württemberg (HAW BW e.V.) were also part of the agenda. They worked together on current challenges in the areas of studies, student services and administration.

"Our meeting made it clear how important close dialog between the universities is in order to exploit synergies, develop sustainable solutions and provide even better support for students," said Anne-Marie Federspiel, Head of the Student Affairs Department at RWU. By hosting the conference this year, Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences is strengthening its role as an active partner in the state-wide university network.
