On June 29, the student makerspace “House of Makers and Engineers” celebrated its 10th anniversary. Visitors were welcomed in the courtyard in front of the workshop with food and drinks and invited to stay a while. Entertainment was also provided—guests could test their skills in a small cornhole tournament with custom-milled boards. In addition, HOME members handed out raffle tickets for a chance to win various HOME-themed merchandise items as prizes. Chairman Tobias Trauth expressed great satisfaction with the response to the celebration and HOME’s successful track record: “I’m very happy that we’ve already found a capable new team for the future—here’s to another 10 years of HOME.”
