DAAD Prize and International Student Award 2025

Once again this year, two awards for (primarily) international students at RWU have been announced. The application deadline is 09.11.2025.

International students have until November 9th to apply for the DAAD Prize and the International Student Award. For this purpose, the application documents (see download area) must be sent by e-mail to ramona.herrmann@rwu.de. It is possible to apply for both awards at the same time, but the different objectives and target groups of the awards must be taken into account. In both cases, the prize money is a one-off payment and not an ongoing scholarship.

The DAAD Prize for Foreign Students 2025:

Awarded to a regular foreign student who has distinguished him/herself through special academic achievements and remarkable social or intercultural commitment and who has also mastered his/her studies through his/her own financial means

Prize money: 1,000 euros, sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

The International Student Award of Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences 2025:

Awarded to initiatives or individuals (German or foreign students) who have made a special contribution to togetherness and tolerance as well as awareness of foreign cultures and traditions. The award winners should contribute to a welcoming culture at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences. The prize is awarded regardless of academic achievements.

Prize money: 500 euros, sponsored by the Förderverein der Hochschule Ravensburg-Weingarten e.V.
