Education as Engineer and teacher - the "+" for the future

Germany's technical specialists are in front - thanks to the dual education at the company and vocational school. Therefor we train teachers who are technically and mathematically skilled and additionally have social and didactic skills for the teaching profession. The combination of an engineering degree and a teaching profession provides excellent career prospects in two exciting areas :

Automotive engineering - development has rarely been more energetic. You will shape sustainable mobility and experience freedom. 

Production engineering – the future is networked, energy-efficient and resource saving, enabling freedom of design and individuality through additive manufacturing.

Designing and teaching

The course opens up two professional worlds: After your Bachelor's degree, you can either join industry or work as a teacher with a subsequent Master's degree

The chances of a vehicle technology engineer are manifold. They plan, develop and test automotive products and are responsible for economic production or quality assurance. In addition to industry, you can also work in engineering companies, public authorities and associations. The demand for engineers is enormous, the opportunities to earn money is top. Industrial companies in mechanical engineering offer excellent working conditions and outstanding social benefits.

As a teacher, the joy of dealing with trainees is just as valuable as the technical skills. Organizational and communicative skills also play an important role. The Automotive Engineering PLUS Bachelor's program therefore offers also teaches didactics, pedagogical training on the job, communication skills as well as management and leadership skills.

Career & Perspectives

Upon successful completion of your studies, you will be awarded the title of Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), which gives you the opportunity to work directly in industry as an engineer or to acquire a Master's degree at a university. The Master's program "Secondary teacher training at vocational schools in automotive and production engineering" enables you to enter the teaching profession. Here, the employment opportunities are excellent, regardless of economic fluctuations.
