Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences (RWU) and Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium (AEG) Ravensburg have now officially anchored their long-standing collaboration in a cooperation agreement. The aim of the partnership is to get pupils interested in scientific topics at an early age and to further intensify the exchange between school and university.

The cooperation has already been actively practiced in recent years: representatives from RWU regularly take part in school events and contribute their expertise to lessons. There are particularly close links in the STEM field - for example, topic-specific project days on artificial intelligence and virtual reality have already been held for various year groups.

Practical insight into science

The cooperation agreement that has now been signed is intended to further expand the collaboration in the future. Plans include the participation of a student delegation in Code Week, a workshop day for Year 1, VR presentation training for the Economics seminar course and a teacher workshop on artificial intelligence.

"We see the cooperation with AEG as a double win," emphasizes RWU Rector Professor Dr. Thomas Spägele. "It gives young people a practical insight into scientific topics and at the same time strengthens Ravensburg-Weingarten as an educational location."
