In just one weekend, participants in the Game Jam at RWU developed a total of five prototypes for video games.
A game jam took place at RWU Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences on the weekend of January 30 to February 1. A game jam is a time-limited event in which participants develop digital games together in teams. The jam took place under the theme "Mask". For 48 hours, participants pondered, coded and designed.
Teamwork
A total of 16 participants took part. What started out as a bunch of "jammers" quickly developed into well-coordinated teams. The atmosphere was characterized by collaboration and interdisciplinarity at the interface between IT and media design. "Thanks to the support of MFG Medien- und Film GmbH Baden-Württemberg, we were also provided with excellent culinary delights," says co-organizer Juliane Klugmann from the Health Economics (Bachelor) course at RWU.
