Energy and fluid mechanics

Porsche im Windkanal.
Profile

The energy and fluid power laboratory offers test benches for experimental investigations on the topics of fluid power measurement technology, thermal fluid power machines, hydraulic fluid power machines and energy technology for domestic supply. An electrical island network is set up with the energy feed-in from decentralized plants such as hydropower, wind power and photovoltaics. Some of the plants are real, some of them are simulated.

The laboratory is operated via a central control system and the test benches are equipped with modern measurement data acquisition.
