On the way to the future - Weiterdenkertagung 2023

Weingarten - How can digital progress and humanity be reconciled? What impact does digitalization have on our society and on our working world in the social and health care sectors? And what role does sustainability play in this?

Thinking ahead together and finding answers to these and other questions - that's what the Weiterdenkertagung 2023 is all about. The part-time master's program in Management in Social and Health Care invites you to attend at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences (RWU). The event will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 08:30 am to 16:30 pm on campus.

With its prominent guests and as a platform for networking, the Weiterdenkertagung has been established for many years. At the upcoming event, everything will revolve around digitalization in the social and health care sectors. Key topics include electronic patient records, digital care offerings and other digital tools. Another major topic is digital leadership and employee marketing.

Discussion - exchange - learning from each other

The philosopher, natural scientist and management expert Professor Dr. Ziad Mahayni will be the guest speaker on the topic of "Tomorrow has never been as exciting as it is today - the digital revolution and the future of mankind". What are the opportunities for better care of people, and what are the challenges in terms of the demands on professionals and managers? What does the future of care look like? What role does sustainability play in healthcare? How can skilled workers be retained and recruited?

In groups, the participants will then continue their discussions with experts and scientists from various fields. The idea is to develop possible innovative solutions and strategies for overcoming the challenges. The exchange of ideas will also yield new insights. In addition, best practice examples in the field of social and health care will be shared in this way.

The Weiterdenkertagung is aimed at all professionals, managers, researchers, students and all those interested in the current and future developments in social and health care.
