RWU team takes 8th place at RoboCup 2023

Once again, the RWU team took part in RoboCup 2023 in Bordeaux. The students of the Master's programme in Computer Science competed with their robots from the Institute of Artificial Intelligence in various competitions.

In the end, the RWU team came 8th in the @Home Open Platform League and won the Open Challenge Award. The Best Poster Award was only narrowly missed by 0.75 points. The winner this year was a team from South Korea.

In this league, 30 robots from 15 countries competed against each other. All continents except Africa were represented in the competition. With about 5,000 robots in teams from 45 countries, RoboCup is the largest event for everything related to robotics and artificial intelligence.
