Studying with family and care responsibilities

Studying opens up many opportunities for personal and professional development. However, if you have family and care responsibilities, everyday university life often brings further challenges in addition to your private responsibilities. Reconciling studying, childcare and/or caring for relatives requires a high degree of organization and flexibility. To ensure that everyone has the same opportunities during their studies, there are various support services and legal regulations.

We support you

RWU has been certified as a family-friendly university since 2015 and has taken a variety of measures for students with family responsibilities. Our individual offers and detailed information on studying during pregnancy, with a child or with care responsibilities can be found in the linked section on the family-friendly university.
