    In the laboratory CAD and FEM the students are trained on the most modern tools of product development. They learn leading CAD tools such as CREO (PTC), CATIA (Dassault Systems) and NX (Siemens). Software systems for the finite element method (FEM) are also available for practical training. Drafts can be realized immediately on a 3-D printer. The entire hardware was recently renewed. The laboratory is used intensively for the execution of project and final work.

    Due to a current research project, modern tools for Virtual and Augmented Reality will soon be available.

    Equipment

    The CAD and FEM laboratory has 29 modern workstations with a powerful graphics card, a 3D printer and a DIN-A0 printer.
    All leading CAD programs as well as a professional FEM program are available.
