A warm welcome to the new employees at RWU. We wish you a great start!

David Heinzelmann is 24 years old and comes from Herbertingen. He completed his master’s degree in Digital Business and Marketing Intelligence at RWU. He is now returning to the university as a research assistant to support the digitization of teaching and departmental administration in the Digital Business Department. In this role, he will focus in particular on further developing organizational processes and digital services. Through his studies, he has already come to appreciate RWU’s practical focus and its close-knit campus community. He was particularly drawn to the opportunity to now contribute behind the scenes to the university’s further development and to bring his experiences as a former student directly to the department. He is motivated to work together to develop sustainable solutions and to actively help shape the digital transformation at RWU. He finds an important balance in making music with various musical groups.

Victoria Dimeo, 26, is originally from Berlin. She completed her master’s degree in Literature and Media at the University of Bamberg this year and is starting an internship in public relations at RWU. She manages the university’s social media presence, provides media coverage for events, and is the go-to person whenever there’s something interesting to report at RWU.

Fahir Yavuz Kivanc is from Leutkirch and works as a research assistant at RWU. His responsibilities in Faculty T include supervising and participating in simulation exercises on startup founding and supply chain management, modeling business processes, and supervising SAP exercises in logistics management. He chose RWU because he had already earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management and his master’s degree in Advanced Business Management & Innovation here. During that time, he felt very at home at the university and had many positive experiences. He is all the more delighted to now be part of RWU in a professional capacity as well. Music and sports help him clear his head and recharge his batteries.

Daniel Schaudt, 37, is from the Southwest Palatinate. At RWU, he is taking on the professorship in Applied Artificial Intelligence; previously, he was the managing director at DASU in Ulm. What he enjoys most about the university is working with the students. In his free time, he enjoys bouldering, rock climbing, and hiking.

Rahel Martjan is 34 years old and comes from Karlsruhe. She is a professor of healthcare management, specializing in digital healthcare management and most looking forward to collaborating with students and inspiring them about the topic of digitalization in healthcare. She is also eager to get to know her friendly colleagues better and to work on joint projects. She finds balance in her work through swimming, hiking, and singing.

Amin Rachih , 22, is from Friedrichshafen and earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at RWU. He is now a research assistant in the Mathematics Department. His primary responsibility is leading the math tutoring sessions. He chose RWU because he identifies with the university and sees an opportunity to provide students with positive experiences and opportunities for growth. He is looking forward to getting a behind-the-scenes look at the university, gaining new insights into its operations, and taking on responsibility himself. He is particularly motivated by the idea of giving something back to the university and, through his work, helping students and staff benefit from a positive collaborative environment. He finds a valuable balance to his work through sports and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition, Nadine Sylla, Shelah Metolli and Julian Molina have also started at RWU. A warm welcome to all of them.
