Biography
Studies of physics in Braunschweig (Vordiplom) and Heidelberg Diplom).
1983 - 1985 PhD at the University of Heidelberg / Institut Laue Langevin, Grenoble:
Studies on beta decay of free neutrons using a superconducting spectrometer.
1986 - 1988 Scientific assistant at the University of Heidelberg / Institut Laue Langevin:
Setup of an experiment to search for neutron-antineutron oscillations.
1989 - 1994 Scientific assistant at the group research center of ABB:
Development of high temperature superconductors, modeling of corona discharges.
Since 1994 Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg - Weingarten.
Areas of teaching: Physics, physical metrology, radiation metrology.
1999 - 2002 Member of the Committee on Radioecology of the Radiation Protection Commission (SSK) of the Federal Ministry of the Environment.
