Automotive engineering of tomorrow

The development of vehicle technology never been as dynamic as today. The automotive industry is in a state of transition: requirements for energy consumption and emissions require new vehicle drives.  The development of autonomous vehicles is in full swing and will change the mobility of the future. You will learn the basics for designing sustainable mobility by studying automotive engineering.

DEVELOP VEHICLES

We offer a practical engineering course around the vehicle. Through various internships and interesting projects in the very well-equipped laboratories and other courses, you will gain hands-on experience for the engineering profession. A team of professors with practical experience will assist you in coping with the contents of your studies. In addition to the curriculum, you can gain further experience in student projects such as Formula Student or Rover to Mars.

CAREER & PERSPECTIVES

The job description of an engineer is characterised by a special diversity. Successful industrial companies as well as public authorities, associations and auditing companies offer possible fields of work. Engineers shape the products of the future; daily work is characterized by a lot of communication and exciting activities in developing, testing and optimizing the various products. Engineers have detailed methodological and specialist knowledge and the ability to solve problems. The demand for engineers is enormous as a result of the growing engineering gap, the earning opportunities are in the top group. Industrial companies offer engineers excellent working conditions and outstanding social benefits. 

Upon successful completion of their studies, they are awarded the title of Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), which gives them the opportunity to work directly in industry as engineers or to obtain a Master's degree at universities.
