    Invitation to the Summer Symposium

The Institute for Electromobility cordially invites you to our first Summer Symposium

the "Electromobility and Sustainability Day" (TEN) on 28 June 2019.

Rapid technological change and the high density of information increasingly demand that we keep track of technical and political events in the field of "mobility". The open event is dedicated to these current topics, is free of charge and is aimed at all those interested in electromobility.

We are delighted to have the support of Dr. Dohle - Chairman of the HRW University Council - at the opening of this new series of events at our university. In addition to exciting presentations by Carla Cargo, Daimler AG and ZF Friedrichshafen AG, you will also find an interesting contribution by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Ertel (RWU) on the subject of sustainability.
Particularly noteworthy is the presentation of the "Electric Beetle" project by Prof. Dr. Robert Bjekovic (RWU) in front of our new university building for research into electric mobility. The VW Beetle is a joint project of the Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences, the Yardimci car paint shop and the Schussental Technical Works. The idea for the conversion of a VW Beetle into an electric car by students of the university and an apprentice of the TWS originates from electrical engineer Martin Irmler of the engineering office of the same name.

We look forward to your participation in the Day of Electromobility and Sustainability. Through constructive talks and interesting discussions, we can jointly contribute to a successful symposium.
