The course of studies in vehicle technology and development focuses on imparting the fundamental competences of vehicle development. In addition to the drive system (electric, hybrid or with combustion engine), the systems chassis, safety systems, bodywork, etc. are dealt with comprehensively.

Focal points

In addition to the powertrain, the focus is on the independent components of the vehicle and the associated development processes.

From the 5th to the 7th semester there are extensive options (5 modules) to deepen your knowledge and your own interests.

Vehicle manufacturers and suppliers rely on capable engineers when it comes to developing and manufacturing vehicles and their components. The change in the powertrain with increasing hybridization and electrification of the powertrain requires creative minds. Industry in southern Germany is characterized by innovative automobile manufacturers and suppliers of new systems for tomorrow's mobility. Manufacturers of commercial vehicles, special vehicles and agricultural machinery can also count on the skills of automotive engineers.
